Magnesium oxide can be used for various purposes in all animal species; however, Ruby Magnesium Calcined is specifically designed to alleviate gastrointestinal transit issues in cases of secondary tympany and constipation. It provides a mild laxative effect and helps maintain stomach or rumen pH balance in acidosis.
The term "calcined" in this product refers to a heating process at 800°C, which increases the magnesium content of magnesium oxide. As a result of this process, the magnesium purity can reach levels of 80-85%.
