RUBY MAGNESIUM SULPHATE

Although magnesium sulfate is used for various purposes in horses and cattle, Ruby Magnesium Sulfate is primarily formulated for its laxative and anti-toxic effects, as well as its use as an electrolyte and a pH balancer in cases of metabolic acidosis.

The product is prepared as magnesium sulfate monohydrate, which, despite being in sulfate form, contains twice as much magnesium (17.5%) as other forms.

When magnesium sulfate monohydrate dissolves in water, the process may be endothermic. Therefore, if it is to be administered orally, a noticeable cooling effect may occur as it is added to water. It is recommended to administer the solution only after the reaction is complete for optimal use.
