SAPPHIRE MAGNESIUM SULFATE
Sapphire Magnesium Sulfate: It is a feed additive. The use of magnesium in animals serves various purposes, depending on the type, amount, and administration method of magnesium. Magnesium sulfate has a laxative effect, working osmotically in the intestines to draw water. This helps soften the intestinal contents and facilitates the easier passage of feces. It increases bowel movements and can be directly administered to animals for this purpose. However, it is more beneficial if the dosage is determined by a veterinarian. Sapphire Magnesium Sulfate Monohydrate is a compound, and as such, the magnesium content can reach up to 17-18%. When magnesium sulfate is added to water, the MgSO₄ salt dissociates into its ions in the water. In this process, magnesium (Mg²⁺) and sulfate (SO₄²⁻) ions dissolve. Since this is an exothermic reaction, it will cause the bottle to heat up. When administering magnesium sulfate, it may be helpful to wait for a few minutes until the reaction is complete.
